“Jehovah’s Witnesses” started out as being called by name, “Bible Students”, under their founder, Charles Taze Russell, then when Joseph Franklin Rutherford took over power, he made changes to teachings and doctrines and then split away from the “Bible Students” and renamed themselves, “Jehovah’s Witnesses”.  “Bible Students” as a religion still exist to this day.  “Jehovah’s Witnesses” named their religion from the Old Testament, Isaiah 43: 10-12, when God was talking to the Nation of Israel, and said that they would be witnesses of him.  They ignore that God was talking exclusively to the Ancient Nation of Israel and it was NOT to be their “Name”.  With that, they also ignore that according to the “New Testament”, true Christians would be known as “Witnesses” of Jesus or Christ.  ( Acts 1: 8; Revelation 17: 6 )

“Jehovah’s Witnesses” follow seven MEN in New York, and regularly study their uninspired “Publications” written or approved by their “governing body”, instead of studying the Inspired Bible by itself.  They only use the Bible to supposedly edify their “publication”.

“Watchtower” Corporation is the “organization” now run by the seven men in New York that are called “governing body”, that has flip flopped in their teachings since their beginning with Charles Taze Russell.

The “Watchtower” Corporation teaches that Jesus is the “mediator” ONLY to the “anointed”, also called 144,000, and also called by a coined name, “Spiritual Israel” (not found in Scriptures).
